In the lyrics, in the music, and in the entity the two become as an allegory for the voyage of life. I typically strip all quotations of attribution so that the ideas may take precedence.

Interesting. Quite a few people these days never get past the attribution to read the content, let alone comprehend or contemplate the content rather than the source. For instance, a single word such as “Trump” can cause all rational faculties to instantly shut down and cause a previously affable person to begin gibbering, hateful noises that will coagulate into ridiculous proclamations of fantasy and belief. Such are the tragic effects of mass propagandizing. People act like they're under Pavlov's control these days, half a century past alleged North Korean brainwashing.
