no, this forum is still better than facebook.............only glad there is still forums still out there.

facefuck has been killing forums - from philosophy to gardening, via forum operators not willing to spend a few bucks to maintain their servers and a pipe to the net via Level 3/etc........and instead just giving up and saying, let facebook pay of it, we are gone.

facefuck = AOLers of 20 yrs ago ruining the Usenet. sadly it just a matter of time before all the forums go away.

never joined facefuck and never will, when all the forums go away and all that is left is facefuck, i too will just leave the internet.

and prob be more productive - lol, live my life here, get more done, instead of posting here on this forum.

We don't want to be discriminatory.

On a philosophy forum some evidence would be appropriate. There are certainly some posters who lower the tone here, and I would suggest the OP has successfully done so. This sort of insulting approach has no place in polite company.

But it would be fair if some evidence was provided.

You'd have to show a correlation between US posters and ruined forums.

Good. I didn't want to find myself shut out of the party. I'm fine if some are better than others at it...from them, I can learn some new techniques of ruinology.
