It is any society's duty to provide for each of it's members an equal share of the two finite resources, space, and time. Populations must become sustainable and change size only intentionally and with appropriate balances. Everyone must be guaranteed a living wage regardless of what they are doing to occupy themselves so long as it is to improve themselves or society, and equal access to a vetting system by which they can gain additional privileges and responsibilities. The minimum acceptable level of equality is equality of opportunity; to explore and improve oneself and one's surroundings. That is the purpose of all society and government exists to do the will of society - at minimum to provide a Quality of life for all beings under it's jurisdiction.
