Lessons like "do unto others" seem to get lost for not being explicit enough but anything longer than a page leaves many people lost. I'd like to propose the following amendment to wherever:

Whatever means thou hath access to, pursue; but if thou hath much more than those around thee, dispense with it; for it will only work against their serenity and by way of it cost you your true worth. Do not hold fast more than that which is needful to thee or thy closest companions toward pursuit of a higher purpose. The good of the individual requires the good of the whole And the good of the whole requires the good of the individual.
