I just read that she was awarded "Woman Philosopher" of 2020. My question is, should she?
By this, I do not agree or disagree that her work is worthy of recognition but rather, why should philosophy be a branch of identity politics. If I was granted an award based on my philosophy, I would be honored. If I was granted an awarded based on being the best fit, average height, middle-aged, male, balding, with green eyes, philosopher... I would find it odd in very odd.
