Consciousness is infinite so it must contain the sum of all possible outcomes. The good, the bad, and the ugly. The mind oscillates from one extreme to the other.
Consciousness could only “allow” something if it had the power to prevent it, but, as consciousness is not an object, it has no power whatsoever.
It is merely the impotent witness.
