I've heard that all the advice the surgeon general and WHO have been giving us on not wearing masks is actually misguided (or maybe out right lies would be an appropriate description) because masks DO HELP STOP THE SPREAD. They're just in short supply so we're being told the opposite. Instead of asking us not to hoard facemasks we were lied to. I knew something was wrong because while they were saying not to wear masks they were also saying that health care workers should wear them. Apparently, we even sent many of our own supply of masks to China when the epidemic first broke out. I suspect some people may lose their jobs over how all this was handled.

Mate ...of course!! It was obvious from the outset! How does 3 people in a room, 1 with the virus and 2 without AND 2 of any of them wearing face masks not help stop a spread?

How does some barrier - of any sort...make things worse? - so long as they are replaced or sterilised somehow.
