Old folks no longer sharp as a tack seem to turn into more of what they always have been. Sweet folks get sweeter, meanies get meaner. Ol' sleepy Joe often says that he would like to take Trump out behind the "woodshed," or the "gym," and beat him up. If they ever do end up on the same stage in a debate, a diminished Biden just might start swinging, literally, which would be awesome to see. But in reality, Biden seems more like the type who talks tough when flanked by armed bodyguards, or when hiding behind a computer screen.

You can’t judge someone to have dementia based on public speaking ability alone.

Reagan was a captivating public speaker, yet he suffered from Alzheimer’s, probably beginning while in office.

Try to judge all candidates based on their projected policies, not on physical qualities like the manner in which they speak or the color of their hair.

Reagan was reviled by the press so I wouldn't bet the farm on the historical record that doesn't match how he saved the country from the Carter years.

The press also painted his wife as a whacko, something to do with mysticism or something.

This is just the usual shit. 4 years ago republicans were saying that Hillary was about to die of something. Today, Bernie has just recovered from a heart attack and has reversed a previous promise to disclose his medical records, so he has his campaign pushing stories about Biden's declining mental capacities. Trump and Biden are both routinely accused of dementia which sort of comes with the territory at their age though.

Of course, Trump will soon be on camera sniffing and snorting his way through more speeches and debates, while everyone pretends not to know what he's been putting up his nose.
