One option not included is the relativity of being. But what of existence that our senses cannot experience? Do they exist as qualities of being beyond our perception or above Plato's divided line?

Suppose we begin listening to the sound of middle C. We can hear it. now it begins to slowly rise in pitch and reach a quality of vibration beyond what our highest instruments are capable of. Does this quality of vibration exist as a quality of being or since we can not hear it, it no longer exists?

Bah!

William is a memory. Pegasus is a myth. And Holmes isn’t impossible.

Call it presentism if you like. I simply call it the way time works.

Raymond Tallis wrote " I have said nothing,"

Well, I am being rude. He DID write something. But not …………

He said nothing about the existence of time.

He could cover his "thesis" in a paragraph or two.

But nooooooo.

He wastes my free read with trying to sell a simple idea that anyone can understand if he weren't so wordy.

He has pissed me off.

Redress would give me an extra article or you might kick me off this forum.
I won't object to that.
