Andy Owen explains what Aristotle was tolkien about.

I felt that the author might have just finished watching the movie on Tolkien (like I just did recently) and thought of the title's pun and wrote something to give it justice!

The substance of it isn't very deep though as its three-way description of what defines a 'friend' is too fuzzy. I also thought it odd to have thought of comparing the strong 'friend' bond as 'gay' when it completely overlooked ones' spousal relationships or familiy bonds as relevant.
