I was very surprised when I stated;
"DNA-RNA wise ALL humans are embedded with the potential to commit terrible evil and violent acts"
which I thought was obvious but somehow "SpheresOfBalance" disagreed.

I would also argue that it has absolutely nothing to do with DNA, and everything to do with ones environment again both physical and mental.

Here is my justifications why ALL humans are embedded with the POTENTIAL [note] to commit evil and violent acts.

The modern humans has evolved over 3 billion of years from the first one-celled living things.
To facilitate survival, mammals has embedded the following instincts to avoid death, i.e. 'kill or be killed response', the fight and flight response, the emotion of anger, aggression, etc.
For non-human mammals, the above instinctual potentials when activated are deemed to be natural.
Thus even if a wild elephant had killed 100 people in a rampage, that is considered a natural act and it could be killed or dislocated somewhere with no humans around for 100+ of miles.

All humans has the same instincts that are embedded with all other mammals, albeit in different degrees and ways of expressions.
However, DNA-RNA wise, all humans are also embedded with a higher degree of self-consciousness and a function of morality in the human brain.

It is only due to the function of morality that humans labelled certain acts [negative to one well being] which are natural and instinctual to non-human mammals as evil and violent which are deemed as morally wrong.

Therefore it is a fact;
"DNA-RNA wise ALL humans are embedded via evolution with the POTENTIAL to commit terrible evil and violent acts"

The term POTENTIAL must be noted.
The existent of such a potential is inherent, but not all humans will activate this potential of evil and violence.
For the majority this potential is suppressed or inhibited by various inhibitors of morality to do good.
However, DNA-RNA wise there is a natural percentile of [conservatively] 20% of humans will be born with an active evil and violent tendency. These are the evil prone people [the extreme genocidal, serial killer psychopaths and the lesser evil-prones] who will commit evil and violent naturally upon various stimuli that trigger their evil and violent impulses.

In addition, the 80% of those who are not born with a natural active evil and violent tendency, their dormant potential to commit evil and violent may be triggered by nurturing factors, such as social background, poverty, culture, political, racism, religion, social, etc. elements.

• Example, a person may be born without an activated tendency to commit evil, e.g. a goody-two-shoes, but such a person can be influenced if he is introduced subsequently into an evil and violent [gangs, racism, religions] environment [neighborhood] flooded with evil laden elements.
  This is where any goody-two-shoes when raised in slums are likely to end up committed evil and violent acts.
  This also happened with goody-two-shoes who are religious but when influenced by the evil laden ideology of Islam, they suddenly out of nowhere were identified as suicide-bombers who had killed many - to the surprise of their family members and friends.

The above is my justifications for my proposition;

Disagree? If so, Why?

My definition of 'evil';
Evil is defined with reference to acts and thoughts, thus an evil act is related to any human act and/or thought that are net-negative to the well being of a human individual and therefrom to humanity.

Another point to note.
In the above I mentioned, conservatively 20%.
However according to my definition of evil above, the definition will cover lying, minor crimes, milder rage, lesser evil acts, etc.

If the above is included, then the % of people born with a potential to commit any evil act would be >60% or even >80% since >60-80% will lie sometimes impulsively or deliberately for various reasons.

However I will avoid the lesser evil and stick to the more serious evil acts of genocides, mass murder, severe tortures, mass rapes, terrible violence, murder and those of similar degrees.
