This is where a belief is God is an instant balm to soothe the Angst.
The above argument is the only discussion Veritas Aequitas brings to this forum. There is nothing else as far as I can see that this person ever talks about.

So tell us Veritas Aequitas; how is a God supposed to soothe the fear of dying? when it is perfectly clear that ALL living people are going to die anyway no matter whether they believe in God or not. What practical USE or GOOD will believing in a God do for someone who develops an existential crisis apart from soothing their fears of not living anymore ?

What do you actually mean by claiming a person is soothed by their belief in God?...even though the person knows they are still going to die anyway, and that thereafter, they will not even be aware they've died or of any God they supposedly conjured up in their own mind ..So what's the point in any of this ''soothing'' nonsense that you are so driven to talk about incessantly?

Every thing that lives will eventually die. So there is no sound reason why any normal human being would attempt to make up some saviour entity that was going to make that obvious passing easier, might as well just believe in a pink fluffy feathered unicorn to soothe the fear for all the use and good that would do.
