New research in biomechanics suggests that young people are developing hornlike spikes at the back of their skulls - bone spurs caused by the forward tilt of the head, which shifts weight from the spine to the muscles at the back of the head, causing bone growth in the connecting tendons and ligaments. The weight transfer that causes the buildup can be compared to the way the skin thickens into a callus as a response to pressure or abrasion.

The result is a hook or hornlike feature jutting out from the skull, just above the neck.

Soon horns will be proof of indoctrination into technology and the government will check everyone for horns to prove they are right thinking and continually looking down and away from the stars and the heavens. Guys will be saying "wow, look at the horns on that girl!"

That’s not surprising, if it’s true. Look what a lifetime hunched over a desk can do to a back. Hunchbacks and horns, folks are becoming the guardian gargoyles of cultural devices. People are evolving into the tools of tools. At the recent US Open at Pebble Beach, anytime a famous player got close to the crowd he was liable to see a wall of phone screens in front of faces.


Peer pressure grows kid horns. A kid without a pocket phone has a big social hurdle to keep up with the Jones kid. The horns likely have an unknown purpose other than anchors for goth chains, or to be enhanced in size, or to be silver-tipped like the toes of fancy cowboy boots. The horns might be a naturally evolving tuner or antenna for future phone implants, making invention not only the mother of necessity, but also making anticipated invention the auntie of evolution.

People are not only growing horns but more babies are being born with tails. It is all the result of climate change as any progressive knows.
