When the term status quo [i.e. the condition of things] involves the term status [ 1) socially superior rank or high prestige; 2) the condition of things], is any status quo [condition of things] the same as elitism [the classification of society by rank or prestige]?

In the same vein, since the term, "bleeding to death", includes the word, "death", is bleeding the same as dying?

You're welcome :)
