I'm aware of what's going on in the US.

I'm wondering if anyone agrees that using drones loaded with fire retardant and water would be a more effective way of fighting these fires? So far haven't caught any stories on this.

The US is getting an increase in forest fires? What a shame. Do you think the hotter weather has anything to do with it?

Only YOU can prevent forest fires. It's a lot of pressure on YOU, but I know YOU can do it, Phil.

I have read that most forest fires are started by people, careless or otherwise. The weather? I've read that rain can help put out the fires BUT it can lead to further tree growth providing more fuel for the fires.

Currently California has set a new state record with the Mendocino Complex fire which is still active.

BC is doing badly as well. The smoke could be seen from space, hovering over the prairies.

Smokey Bear says that only environmentalists can prevent forest fire prevention.
