No, it's important that physicians carry as many dangerous and highly infectious diseases as possible. That way they can either strengthen the immune systems of their patients or eliminate the weak from the gene pool.

This would be the right and proper thing to do but, for the sake of filthy lucre, physicians corruptly get flu injections. Why? Just so they don't risk potential future patients and the money they bring.

Amazing how easy it is to spin anything in these postmodern days! I reckon you could post the above lunacy to some forums and there's be people agreeing.

So, you really could be counted as a yes, Greta, but I like the way you expressed it.

For physicians, the ethics are captured in the phrase, β€œFirst, do no harm.” For other healthcare workers, it’s, β€œThe patient always comes first.β€œ Of course, everything hinges on whether the ethics are followed or not.

Haha! But worse yet, there would be people arguing against your point.

Are sex-for-hire workers counted as health-care workers? I think in a way they ought to be.

It's about time in Canada the Provincial Health Plan paid for conjugal visits by complete strangers. A lot of people would get healthier (mentally, emotionally), and at a lesser charge to the Health Care Benefits system by the provider than by the doctors.

A smarter-type politician could realize this and running on this platform could get a landslide victory.

No, but I think they ought to be forced to play soccer practice seven hours a day, carry a heavy stone around town for four hours a day, and not go to the washroom in the last seven days of each month.

Either prospect would have once been a worry. Today, such dopiness is SNAFU.

Health professionals already require vaccinations. They should for influenza as well, but those are best guesses as to what will manifest during the season, and are far from perfect.

Not all get them. I know one who didn't because he's allergic to eggs.

Hope he doesn't practice in obstetrics then... (eggs, get it?)
