Should sneezing be banned?

Wash your hands, brush your teeth.

Handshaking yes because it's just annoying. Now everyone thinks they have to offer their hand for shaking. It used to be a male thing. Men hardly ever wash their hands after going to the toilet so yuk. Please don't offer me your hand. And how many people bother to wash their hands after sneezing? It's revolting. They sneeze all over their hand, have a look, and then go about their business as usual.
I find the offer of a handshake from people like land agents at open homes frankly ridiculous and false (probably another stupid yank thing that's infiltrated the rest of the planet).

Of course this kind of contact should be banned. All the world should be one great big soccer pitch: no hands or face contact. Very close friends or spouses may bump hips Hello; acquaintances settle for a toe-to-toe greeting; strangers can wave from a distance.
Once we all get properly attired, those in hazmat suits may embrace and even rub visors; those in hamster balls (your choice) can text their affection.
That leaves us still able to call one another bad names and use racial and gender slurs, cyber-bully, sexually harass and inflict any other psychological damage, so the right of free speech won't be abridged.

Well I'm sure the first thing is already something some of you guys don't have to worry about.

Separation of all body fluids and bioflora is essential at all times.

What we need is to stay safely within the "cell walls" of our homes, fitted with in-house entertainment and communications systems and serviced by automated home delivery units that sterilise themselves with ultrapure water after each delivery to prevent the transmission of pathogens.

There we will be safe from the germs, the pollution, the crowds and crims, storms, the heat and cold. Each family of "new mitochondria", safely ensconced within their cell boundaries and serviced by megabrain corporations will earn their keep by answering questionnaires about their opinions of the corporations' products and services, the information mapped by "human studies" divisions to gain enough data to create new minds ...

It's going to be a long wait for the third season, alas.

Germs are ok, but e-coli bacteria, hepatitis, gastroenteritis etc. are not. Who would want a surgeon who didn't wash his hands?

Or, like surgeons, we could carry a supply of latex gloves in case a handshaking occasion should present itself, then immediately upon completion of the formality, dispose of them in a sealed container, conveniently located alongside the hand-sanitizing dispenser at all entrances and landings.

They should be discouraged.

Much better to touch foreheads if personal, touch noses if more personal, and if not personal then keep your distance and speak in peace, and not speak with forked-tongue kissing, or false handshake ritual.
