What is the next ultimate breakthrough technology?

By ultimate I mean becoming mainstream. And by mainstream, I mean by where at least half of the adult population becomes affected by the technology in an area at least the size of a country.
Could it be quantum supremacy where IBM and Google are in a race? Or autonomous cars? What about CRISPR? Graphene, the wonder material or other 2D materials? Extended reality (VR, AR and MR)? 5G?
My opinion is it'll be a certain type of internet in South Korea.

Have you caught the latest video on the running robot from Boston Dynamics? Looks impressive. Boston Dynamics is getting ready to sell on the industrial scale.

Agreed, implantable social media technology...most likely within 10 years.

SIM cards will soon be replaced by eSIM. Might seem insignificant, but it has a large practical value.
10 years:
Holographic screens.
20-50 years:
Robot/AI workers (like secretaries, prostitutes a.s.o.).
