Can anybody recommend a book or website about the etymology of European place names? I am particularly interested in Latin/Scottish/French/Spanish connections.

I had an interest in finding out the meaning of the names of cities, until I discovered that the name for the city I live in means "a village of assholes."

Thank you, Philosophy Explorer. One of your links helped me to understand that what I am after is Celtic toponymy. Proto Celtic was very much present in Europe and Asia Minor.
