Groupies

I am shocked to realize how many groupies exist in ones everyday life...i always thought they were reserved for the ultra famous...as in...rock stars and shit. The art's district where I live is swarming with them. Adoration of artists is common.

How Strange.

So, how many fans sleep over, AS ?
And do you charge for a Group self-portrait ?

Lol..im too shy for sleep overs...unless it's people I know well!

All the artists down here have these groupies and it's quite distressing for someone like me who does not like to chit chat in person with a stranger.

' There are no strangers here; only friends you haven't yet met' - Yeats.
But that was then - another time, place.

There are no strangers here; only crazies who haven't killed you yet

 So True. I am sitting in my gallery today and a very nice man with a gun strapped to his belt is fixing my door. I bought him lunch so he wouldn't kill me.

And how is my beautiful friend, M, doing?

There's no need to be a snob about it.

Where do you live? I'm coming over. There is always room for a few more groupies. Nothing like diversity.

Folks also adore philosophers, scientists, writers. The adored adore doing, and also having done. Does a philosopher study life, or philosophy?

Door now fixed up with appropriate defences ?
M is pretty blue, natural autumnal hue; hibernation overdue.
So, AS, How are you?

Groupies are known suck-ups, which can be good or bad.

You're bluetiful!

Door to my office is not quite finished. Man with gun gets the last say when that will happen.

I'm good. You have to have a sense of humor when life is cruel. It'll win anyway...no sense fighting it.

You have to be very cautious around groupies. The have a tendency to idolize and then become angry when you don't live up to their expectations.
