My opinion is that Noah cursing his grandson, Canaan, to be a slave is the weirdest story to come out from the Bible.

Noah had gotten drunk which he blamed his son Ham for so Noah cursed his grandson (who wasn't even born yet).

My basic question is what is the point of the story? What does it seek to teach us?

Don't name your son after the product of a pig....and don't drink too much. Actually this story is the entire reason Muslim's are required not to drink alcohol and eat pig.
