As a bachelor, Christmas is just not something I get into anymore. It was fun while it lasted through childhood but without children myself it's just another day of the year.

There's me thinking that finally there is something we can all agree on. Gary, at least the roads will be quiet if you fancy a drive. The rest of you Merry Christmas. High five! (That's for you, Harbal. I gather it's something young people and Americans do.)

It's something Americans do (for some reason). At least no one has said 'happy holiday', or whatever the US PC Thought Police has come up with.
