British Values
There is no such thing as British Ethical Values. Values are universal, and anything in human society that belongs to a particular place and time is a matter of culture. There is nothing within culture that is a value. However Culture as a class of things that is beneficial to humanity is a Value. Similarly with the environment and nature there are no particular things that can be taken as values, but Environmentalism is to be taken as a value.
If Britain is merely promoting Universal Values then we have ceased to value Britain as a unique place and society. Indeed, we are effectively promoting the globalisation of the country. As opposed to living in a greater global society. And culture can only be advanced society by society, which means country by country.
Environmentalism is a global concern, but here again each region and even country is different and unique. The environment is and always will be the chief concern, far outweighing the economy above subsistence level. And when or if we eventually have all the artificial goods that we can sensibly make use of, if we have protected the environment, there will be one class of things that will always remain for us to value - if we have not destroyed it - and that is Culture and cultural diversity.

I don't know, but they surely use strange units that are only used in their country.
