I've probably read a lot more Spinoza that you, I doubt you've read any.

I have been defeated.

My misgivings about the video (which I found provided many enjoyable perspectives) are:

1) the vagueness about the actual treatments

2) the fact that the video raised in me a desire to spend my hard earned on those purported benefits.

The combination of factors suggests to me what is basically a long, somewhat informative advertisement. A promo video.

Whatever, logic is close to my heart anyway. It provides a calmer path through life than riding one's emotions. While emotions are the main player in western nations' national political conversation, emotions don't seem to work so well in day to day life. The common wisdom in the 70s was that companies would walk over you if you let them and that you had to complain vehemently to get results.

It doesn't work any more. Companies don't care what little people think or say. When you have a problem with an organisation these days it's pointless to make a fuss (as I used to do). For the most part all you can do is throw yourself at their mercy, ask how to fix the problem and then follow the steps provided. Emotion is increasingly becoming a handicap in modern society.

I have watched the video again and saw how bullshitty it actually is. I actually was drunk the first time i have watched it.
Now watching it clear headed i realize how fucking stupid it is.. using words like inner child, its more of a spirituality video than anything.
And saying how science has gotten us all safety now. Science has brought more misery than ever. War, famine, and killing people for oil. Vaccination and making kids autistic. I was too drunk to even realize what im watching, i just read the title and got happy.
