Does universe need a sustainner?

I had extensive discussion in a Catholic forum. One of the main problem that I have never understood was the claim that universe is sustain by God. Do you have an idea why that is the case since this to me is not clear.

Not a bad topic...I wouldn't have referenced a non-specific forum. If you do use another forum discussion, tell SOMETHING about your conclusions about that discussion.
Could you present opposing points or possible theories in relation to the discussion that you are attempting to start?
