Philosophy Now Forum

Hey, I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm from the States, I'm a fan of literature, music, and science, and I'm a total amateur when it comes to philosophy. I've recently read Reality With a Human Face by Hilary Putnam, and work by Markus Gabriel, Paul Feyerabend, and Simone de Beauvoir. Big fan of Stephen Jay Gould too. My favorite read of the year has been Mark Greif's The Age of the Crisis of Man, a comprehensive look at the evolution of literary and political ideas about "man" during the 20th century.
