In 1965, "Satisfaction" was a hit, giving the Rolling Stones their first number one in the US. In the UK, the song initially was played only on pirate radio stations because its lyrics were considered too sexually suggestive. -Wikipedia

In 2016 bobevenson has to post his rubbish on a UK forum because the US ones consider him too much of an ass (obviously, in the UK we consider him to be an arse).

He would be an 'ass' in the UK too, since 'ass' is short for 'jackass' (an idiot), and 'arse' means something else altogether. Illiterate boob has never been able to grasp this. It's simply too complex for him.

You British limeys just can't face the fact that you live under a repressive regime that discourages freedom of thought and speech.

Well folks seem to say pretty much what they like on this
British forum.

Well yes, I'll have to concede, we British are a little intolerant of stupidity. But, then again, if it was a US forum you would get banned so it's all relative really, isn't it?

Please, you're allowed to post, which effectively negates your argument!

That doesn't really make any sense, so, if nothing else, you're being consistent.

LMFAO! At least you've left the 50's bob.
Take a gander at Graham Norton's BBC chat show, Meryl Streep thinks he's a genius and appears every time she's over here promoting a show or film. She and all the American actors who go on this show just cannot believe what free-speech and a chat is actually like with respect to a real television talk-show.

That reminds me of the time when Dustin Hoffman appeared on Graham
Norton and recounted what he said in the lift while dressed a la Tootsie

What juxtaposition, you limeys talking about famous Americans being interviewed by an obscure British interviewer!
