Space is not a causation. Space is not location, distance or events. But removing location, distance and events does not prevent discussing space.

The same is true of time. Tim is not a causation. Time is not dates, duration or events. Removing dates, duration and events does not prevent discussing time.

Change is seen as the past moving into the present both seen in the present. Time is not the past moving into the present but the action that allows the the near past to move into the present. Consequently, time is not change.

Distance is to space as duration is to time. Define space without distance and time without duration. In temporal consciousness, the discussion is how time operates in the brain. The same approach should apply to how actual time operates.
