Time, I guess, to ban 'military-grade, high-capacity, high-powered, assault' trucks.

Newt Gingrich would like to see all Sharia believers banned.

Somewheres down the road, I expect a technology such as Autopilot to be developed to prevent a recurrence of this event (which would need to be tamperproof as well).

This is a proposed solution, but mine is better:

A kill switch would only lessen deaths and injuries.

While we're on this discussion, years ago I read a Superman comic where Brainiac was imprisoned. If Brainiac thought about breaking out, Superman saw to it that Brainiac would be disabled.

I think it's really an old idea to keep machines from bringing harm to people. Kill switches can be used for backup, but the best solution would be to disable machines before harm can result.

Meh. I'm just staying away from crowds and celebrations. I'm not fond of parties, anyways.

For some though, perhaps a carry and conceal permit for rocket launchers would be a nice idea. That'll keep everyone safe.

Lets face it, the human animal is severely flawed!

Only true solution to the problem is to apologize for the Hebdo drawings that infuriated the islamist. Maybe go as far as jail them, but that would be atrocious in the western eyes, so it's a never ending conflict till the majority of islamists are killed or subdued.

That would depend on who is evaluating it, and what they are comparing it to.

Compared to other carnivores, humans are less savage than normal.
