How did knowing God change you?

Did it make you a better person? Calmer? More at peace? Did it give you the ability to love all mankind? Did it make you healthier? Did it make you richer? Did it improve your relationships with people? Did it take away your anger? Did it take away your anxieties? Did you develop skills? Did it make you more focused? Did it give you extra strength? More tenacity? Did it take away your frustrations? Do people respond better to you now? Did it make you more attractive to people? Did you get promotions you did not expect? Did it make you more successful? Does food taste better now? Does music mean more to you now? Do you appreciate your fellow men and women more now? Do you think of all men as being equal now?

What changed in real life after you found God?

Going on my observations here, it just seems to make people more argumentative.

But your opinion doesn't count because you don't keep touching your higher self. Sorry, man.

We know you are a master at evading answering, but you could have simply avoided saying anything. Why say something which even other Theists can see is a cop out? Let us see if you have the integrity to give a straight answer once.
How did it change you?

Are you saying that after the ecstasy of knowing God, your wife made you do laundry? That's not a change. That's a complaint.

Or are you saying knowing God made you start talking in this profound language which only other Theists who know God and keep touching their higher selves can understand?

Would you prefer something more mundane like 'nothing changes but, at the same time, everything changes'?

I really love the superstitious mindset of atheists. It can be quite entertaining.

It appears that the empty self-absorbed arrogance IS the answer to the question, sthitapragya. In which case, I wonder if that has been an improvement or destructive result of knowing god. The childish retorts would seem to indicate a soul in the early stages of development, which has discovered its ego and is very pleased with itself. There appears to be no desire or awareness of connection with others... just a primitive need to dominate, and a belief that one's association with a god can assist with that.

Well, so we can assume that theists have not yet figured out how knowing God has changed them. Otherwise there would have been at least one answer. come on, guys. There must be at least one of you whose life has change after knowing God. I refuse to believe God is so irrelevant that none of you changed after knowing Him. At least one. Come on.

So NOTHING changed. At all. That's a downer. And don't give me the crap about "everything" changes. Coffee tasted the same the next day, didn't it? Your ED was the same the next day, wasn't it?

Just read what you are writing. Superstitious mindset of atheists? Seriously? That is an oxymoron from a moron. Even other theists will be cringing in embarrassment.

It fucked me over, inside and out.

It transformed me from a thoughtful though reserved adolescent to a completely insufferable geek.
Thankfully it did not last long and I un-knew "god" in a year or two and resumed my thoughtful and inquisitive self towards adulthood.

How do you know that he doesn't touch himself? Are you a stalker?

Because he doesn't talk about it with pride and that seems to be a requirement of higher self touching. You have to talk about it.

I learned about levels of fear and evilness that I would have never imagined otherwise... and I learned self-doubt, desperation, and pretense. I also learned about the power of intoxication of group-mentality. I already instinctively knew about love and connection, so I did not need the experience of a god to teach me those things. I love my theist friends and the good things they do (whatever their motives and ideas)... but theism is not for me, and there are plenty of other ways for naturally expanding and attuning with all.

Just for the record: I don't touch my lower self, either, except for legitimate purposes.
