Hi. I retired from industry (some years ago) at 50 and I'm interested generally in philosophy since obtaining a modest university qualification at UEA, Norwich, UK.
I like to see how philosophy appears in everyday life especially in the ethics of genetic issues (eg, DNA database) and the criminal justice system where I work voluntarily as an Appropriate Adult.

Thank you Psychonaut - that's very thoughtful. I am enjoying this day as I have a recording of music by Purcell and some 75% chocolate. :D

Whats the other 25%?

The 75% is the cocoa solids - which is what makes it 'chocolate'. On its own cocoa is very bitter so they add sugar and some other stuff like emulsifiers and vanilla flavouring.
Most British chocolate is about 25% cocoa with the rest being sugar, milk and fat.
It's all down to preference really but if you like it and have a Lidl nearby then the German (J D Gross) Plantation Dark product can be bought for the same price as Cadbury's.

Hrm, not a connoiseur really. I buy fair trade from the co-op which, apparently, has 28%.

P.S is it just me that wants to scratch that Chimp's belly?

God I want a monkey :(

What would you do with £250?

Well, funny you should mention that, I did a search for marmosets on google earlier and found a marmoset, for sale, in the UK, for £200. I couldn't believe it.

But the first thing I would do with £200 is throw it into the black hole.
