Why do we get angry and exasperated ?

According to some views from the area of yoga: because something is highly unsatisfactory and so we need to change it.

If a weak person reacts with anger to a situation that requires a change how would someone strong react to it ?

The answer goes to the nature of habits. For example, if one habitually has success at controlling the environment through passive or active aggression then encounters a situation where one expects different effects by intending this same cause of active and/or passive aggression, frustration can result (note to Hillary's campaign). One avenue to explore, or alley depending on your point of view, is fascism. You know, the strongman. The Totalitarian Reaches For A Crowbar … good topic for a poem, though a counterpoint would be a stronger literary image. The Strongman Reaches For A ...

Each of us fills certain social and environmental niches. The stronger you are, the more choice of niches you have. Strength is useful but not necessary. With better than average luck, the weak can also prosper.

If people get easily impatient and emotional then they are probably weak.

Giving way to emotions makes us unable to think rationally and therefore we cannot achieve what we want.

The first step to becoming stronger is therefore to stay calm no matter what.

I'd argue calmness is the effect, not the cause of strength.

Yes, but it could be the hen and egg problem.

You wish to be stronger, you try to stay calm, this enables you to be more effective and more efficient, this makes you stronger and more confident, this makes you more calm the next time.

Hard to argue against.
