Welcome to Heaven...

Welcome to heaven. Your heaven...
What does that heaven look like & why?
This heaven can be something that you have experienced or this heaven of yours can be completely fanciable.
- I'll start.
My vision of heaven is one viewed in a dis-associative state.
Somewhere in the entomological history the word ecstasy actually meant detachment.
I don't really care or envision the outer parameters of this heaven I have experienced, except that there is very little of what I would call mental violence.
I've done every opiate and dis-associative that I could get my hands on. I've been close to death a few times. Very close.
But none of my embraces with outwardly induced chemical ecstasy have compared, in any way, to the philosophically self-induced self-conscious ecstasy that I obtained from following a particular philosophical discipline early in my adult life.
That was my heaven. A moment, here on earth, that I actually experienced over forty years ago.
Now, what is your heaven? Welcome us to it.

My heaven spoke silently to me.
It said, ''...if you don't clean that bloody shit off my screen I'm not going to show myself to you ever okay ..you got that??....how the heck do you expect me to see you properly with all that dirt on me??....''
So I said, ''....okay heaven, I got it man..I'll clean up my shit just for you....''
Well, I seriously could not believe how many layers had built up over the years without me even noticing. I must admit though, It was rather a difficult choice for me to do this for you heaven, since I'd grown rather attached and partial to my shit, especially the smell, whoa, heady stuff....so it was a bit of a selfless sacrifice having to give that up, but I figured it would be worth it...so yeah, your right as always in your highest wisdom, I really do need to clean up my act good and proper if I'm ever to see you heaven.
Anyway, to cut my long story short to the sweet, I became sweetness and light. I found myself at last, I knew this was the one.
I'd found my perfect Self. It was hiding underneath all that shit the whole time.
Two for the price of one, can't be bad.
Anyhow..the moral of the story ..........was

Harbal. Let this be a lesson to us all about the hazards of recreational pharmaceuticals.

Did you see dontaskme's last post, Leo? It could almost have been one of Wiltrack's. I knew no good would come out of their recent intimacy. Wiltrack's spores must have somehow managed to infiltrate dontaskme's brain. The worrying thing is, I just saw dontaskme telling some bloke how much he loved his post, just like the way Wiltrack used to say it to him. That must be how it spreads, dontasme was trying to infect the poor guy. I wonder if it's too late to warn him.

Yeah, love, empathy, understanding spread that way.
...better be careful or some might get onto you.

I don't sense much love coming from you. That's not a criticism, by the the way, I prefer it like that.

I went to an all boys boarding school in my youth, Harbal, and it was made emphatically clear to me by the men in frocks that for boys to stroke each other was a mortal sin. I subsequently found out that this was a privilege they chose to keep to themselves.

In philosophy forums it may not be so unusual for 1+1 to equal 1.
Entomologically too insects don't wish to be stepped on by humans as well as the latter not wishing to have anything to do with insects. For those who are so attached it would ecstasy not to be which would be its etymological derivation.

God never needed drugs to see himself.
Only his doubting little Thomas needed drugs.
Why damage the delicate Art of the master with chemicals, if he'd ave meant for you to smoke he would have made you with a chimney on the top of your head.
There real God has no gender...no name...no home...no relation.....no image.....no form....no sense.....no education......no any thing
And the real God is a magician....making all the things absent appear as if they are really here.

Let me guess. More of him is unknowable and you are his little bit tool.

...but this would make God into the greatest of grand illusionists who exempts himself from being part of it much like a vampire whose being cannot be reflected.

If the kingdom of heaven is within man, then why do we think of it as being after death?

This immortality notion was a clever ruse devised by a shrewd adviser to the rich and powerful. If you're a slave-owning plutocrat then you've found the goose that lays the golden egg if you manage to convince your uneducated serfs that provided they're willing to put up with all sorts of hardship in their lives then they'll be rewarded by living in bliss for eternity after they cark it.
This might sound like a highly improbable story to a 21st century person but there was a time when ignorant people used to believe this sort of bullshit.
