The PN game

Here's how it works. Somebody tries to post as much bs as the crowd can stand before flaming, banning, etc. occurs. The winner is the one who's most successful at this.

Nobody wins. Because everybody's a winner. And that's because everybody thinks he or she posts something that is smart and worthwhile.Hobbes' Choice wrote:No.Philosophy Explorer wrote:Here's how it works. You win if you post something that is smart and worthwhile. Since you keep posting shit, you fail the game everytime.
BTW HR, has anyone ever called you a village idiot?Hobbes' Choice wrote:No.Philosophy Explorer wrote:Here's how it works. Somebody tries to post as much bs as the crowd can stand before flaming, banning, etc. occurs. The winner is the one who's most successful at this.

It's not the only game in PN town. However, if you want to focus on the boring banning game, do you think there should be a limit to the period of play. And how many replays of the same game, by the same individual should be allowed?Philosophy Explorer wrote:Here's how it works. It's interesting you brought up limits. Somebody did that in basketball a long time ago (with a clock buzzer) and the result was the game scores went up. The same may happen here if your proposal were adopted leading to more flaming, banning etc. Quite a game.marjoram_blues wrote:It's not the only game in PN town. Actually that's the most (only) intelligent thing I've seen you post.Philosophy Explorer wrote:Nobody wins. Because everybody's a winner.
