Going Backwards

When we go backwards into the story of the origin of chicken and the egg or the tree and the seed, we may come across several explanations. Some say that bacteria lead to the formation of the chicken and egg. Some say that there must have been a chicken at the start. Some say that it happened with the Big Bang. Some say that God created it.
Regardless of the reasoning, eventually, one answer that most of us agree on is that some power – we call it God for the sake of a better name – has created all the species on Earth. Otherwise, how would we have Chinese in China, Indians in India and Europeans in the West? How would Americans be so different from the Africans? Why would we have dinosaurs, crocodiles, tortoise, fishes, birds and dogs?
All these are proofs of a super power with a creative brain, mind, and thought. Of course, these are titles that we humans have given to that power. But without any doubt, there is a power – a magnificent, supreme, and super power – that exists. This super power created the Earth, the space around it, the sun, the moon, and the stars. There is a power and arguing about whether the power exists or not is truly meaningless because if one doesn’t want to accept the fact that there is a power that created everything, then any further discussion stands invalid.
When we accept that there is a power, then we move to the next step, a meaningful one, which is trying to find answers to the following questions: Who is this power? Where is this power? What has this power created? Is it a creation or a manifestation?
Once we accept the presence of a supreme power, it opens the doors for us to look for further meaning, purpose and understanding of life. This, in turn, leads us to self-realization and God realization.

What's going on here? Did Manden tag out and put you in the ring?

Air, since you believe in a supreme power that created everything, how old is the Earth?

You must take into account that AiR registered 4 months before Manden.

It appears that AiR is a hit and run poster, posts a comment and then runs away and can't support it.

AiR, are you entertaining the possibility that in addition to, or instead of, viewing this power of which you speak as being an entity puppeteer pulling all causal strings (which from a particular perspective it may well be), the power of which you speak may actually be an all-pervasive and natural energetic process … minus restrictions to any particular consciousness of identity that limit access to total consciousness?

To the best of my knowledge, no one can give an exact answer to the question, “How old is the Earth?” because the Earth was never created. The Earth is a manifestation of God – a manifestation of that power. And only the power of God knows when the manifestation happened. Therefore, trying to find out how old the Earth is – it is a guess work, and I would humbly refrain from making any guess regarding this.

Nice dodge, that's a good way to cover up that you are a YEC and know that you have nothing to base your opinion on.

My dear the doc, what makes you think that AiR is a hit-and-run poster, who runs away? If there is any question that you have to ask, please feel free.

I did ask a question that you dodged. And there are several sources for the age of the Earth. Science gives the age at about 4.5 billion years, young Earth'ers give it as 6,000 years, and some will even give a time and date. So your claim that no-one can give an exact answer is incorrect, some have. The idea that the Earth was not created flies in the face of all the evidence that science has learned about the Earth and it's age, as well as that of the Solar system. If you state that the Earth was not created, then do you believe that the Earth has always existed.
Why do you post about yourself in the 3'rd person?

Then your knowledge is lacking somewhat for it is four and a half billion years old and then cannot always have existed as you assume
