No-brainer: I'm a sane, intelligent, reasonably tolerant socialist. Who lives not nearly far enough north of the 49th parallel not to be in a cold sweat about the perpetual USian political circus.

Here is my question: If Sanders takes Clinton as his VP, how long past inauguration will he live?

I'd rather contract ebola than vote for either.


If Sanders wins with HRC as VP I'd give him a year, maybe 18 months before he dies of "natural causes." This assumes she doesn't go to prison, but considering her inexplicable ability to slither her way out of other tight places I wouldn't put it outside the realm of possibility.
In this scenario I'd take Sanders in a vegetative state a la Terri Schaivo over HRC.

I kind-of like what Trump has brought but his teaming-up with Palin last night was a real turn-off.

Sanders, like voting for anyone would really make a fucking difference.

If Americans actually understood what they are missing out on, there would only be one issue in the next election. How to set up a proper NHS like everyone else in the rich world has. The weird thing is, to the best of my knowledge, these are the only two candidates who have ever proposed one for the USA. Admittedly, The Trump was a Democrat when he proposed that.

Somehow force Mexico to build a wall while simultaneously keeping an entire political religion from entering the US, or give people a lot of free shit at the expense of those who've actually earned it. Yikes, what a tough decision and I shall certainly sleep on it, but on the off chance neither of these great men can keep their promises, President Cruz will have to do.

Who has "actually earned it"? And by what means?
