The power that must steer 'its' people and land. Those who find themselves at the ships helm.

Kind of. But world is a messy place. Sometimes you steer your ship onto a rock. Like Bush in Iraq. Man try to run the world but in the end world run man. Your story is the typical upper class story and that's a dangerous one. Like the flowerpower upper class in 1968. The sheiks an princes in Saudi who wants Jihad, the americans that want america übergreat. In my home country we suffer most from from the upperclass bitches that believe themselves the consicence of the word.

I see the world as maybe a ship in a hurricane, but with a well synchronized crew who wins the race. Ok, someone is at the rudder but it's a team effort. And you never know where the winds are going to take you.
