When you've lost your marbles.

Somebody stole your marbles. They put ten of them in a bag. They threw the rest away. At least one marble is black. At least one marble is white. None are any other color. You are trying to guess the number of black marbles and the number of white marbles. Should you assume five are black and five are white? If you answer correctly, you get your marbles back. If not, you lose your marbles forever. Serious business.
