Topology breakthrough

More specifically, an algorithm breakthrough concerning graph theory.

In math, more and more examples turn up where areas that seemingly have no relationship do indeed have a relationship. The best examples are in calculus where algebra and calculus support one another, but there are many others and today's announcement is yet another example. My philosophy is that every area of math relates to every other area.
