I'm interested in philosophy of mind, in particular qualia, the "hard problem" or the "explanatory gap".
I currently don't think it is that "hard", nor is there a real "gap", and think qualia can be detected, as long as you qualitatively interpret the data about what you are detecting correctly. For more information, see this 15 minute YouTube video entitled "Detecting Qualia":

I've also been running the consciousness survey project at http://canonizer.com, seeking to build and measure for the best theories on this and all theoretical topics where there is still lack of expert consensus.
