Ignore negativity

Do you want to be liberated? Do you want to achieve enlightenment? Do you want to be free - mukth? Then learn a simple secret: ignore negativity. In this drama of Samasara, this world, negative situations will come across your path, negative people, negative circumstances, negative challenges will confront you. What should you do? Ignore them. Know that it is drama and know that these negative tendencies are just to pull you into Samsaar, the world, and entangle you into unnecessary trifles. What should you do? Just be happy. Ignore negativity and move on. I know it’s easier said than done, but that’s the way to attain Nirvana. If you truly want Nirvana, bliss, aananda, joy, then the way to get that bliss and aananda is to ignore negativity. Somebody makes a nasty comment, it’s okay, take it in your stride. That nasty comment is supposed to confuse you and pull you into the world; get your mind working on foolish, unnecessary matters. Is that what you want to do? If not, then just withdraw from that negativity and move on with positivity. Smile, be humorous, forgive, forget, understand, be passionate and move ahead on your path to liberation. Negativity is one element that draws us into the world and takes us away from the journey of self-realization. Realize that you are not the body, you are the spirit and you are not supposed to get into these entanglements of the body and you will soon be on your way to Nirvana.

Ridiculous.
We understand the world by a system of opposites. Ignore one half of the equation and you fail to understand the world you live in. Fail to understand your world and you are reduced to living in a fantasy world of your own creation.
Ananda is the embrace of the inner self, and the ignoring of reality. You place yourself outside the world and live in your own mind.

I have a feeling that all responses are going to be "ignored". LOL

Negativity is good for you.

Aww, never mind. Suckered again.

AiR, you want to know how you reach Nirvana (oblivion)? You die. It's that simple. And you don't bring another conciousness into existence to fret over the same crap you did. And that's where the Buddha fucked up. He created a new existence in his son, Rahula, to do it all again. Fucking idiot.

And if someone starts a fight with me ?
It is not always possible to go away with a smile.
If someone wants to fight with you you either try to make peace (which does not always work) or you run away (if you are quick enough).

Buddhists in Burma (it has a new name now, Myanmar ? ) do not avoid fighting.

I still use the old names; Burma, Ceylon, Rhodesia, etc. I like continuity.

A Negative Comment:
If you only look forward, you ignore the past and cannot possibly learn anything from it. And so while you may think that you are going 'forward', this could be equally understood as negating the reality of others. I like to embrace it all and am free to change directions. And this assures that I'm more "liberated" than you.

A Positive Comment:
Ignore the Negative Comment above.

I have no real objection Hobbes. Have at it. Reminds me of a song; Istanbul (Not Constantinople). To that I add Byzantium. How are things in Londinium, btw?

Anyways, some may object, but they still know what my reference is.

That's the trouble with being a dinosaur, you have to study to find out what stuff was originally called.
"Flumen Tamesis" was the Thames. BTW (pretty good for continuity).
There are 8 Jarls in the region, my nearest is Simon Kirby in the oest, but I owe no allegiance to that scum, my natural Jarl is Peter Kyle, of vestr brighthelmstone (Hove).
