Just thought I would introduce myself. I could label myself a thousand things, but none of them are really me.

I'll leave it all for you to judge. Trust your instincts, understand yourself before applying your perception of yourself on to me, that's all I would ask of you. Keep an open mind.

Your statement belongs in the 'certainty' thread.

It would take something dire and truly offensive for me to change my mind about an individual. There have been rare cases, but I am generally an optimistic person and I prefer to think the best for people.

People don't really disappoint me. I have no expectations of others at all, and I am secure in the knowledge that nothing anyone else does in this life is a result of who or what I am, or what I say or do. Each individual is responsible for their own responses and actions and it has nothing to do with me. So I have no expectations, and sometimes I am pleasantly surprised of what I do find but I am never disappointed. To be disappointed, you have already made judgment calls on what a persons actions or words will be, and in that you short change them. I don't assume to know what anyone else is thinking or feeling. I wait for them to tell me.
