For Your Spiritual Edification

As you know, I have formalized the casual bar game of liar's poker, played with the serial number of a dollar bill, into Ouzo, played with a roll of 3,000 tickets with eight computer-generated random numbers printed in rank order and pulled from a plastic dispenser. The advantages of Ouzo are true random numbers not found on a dollar bill, duplicate numbers grouped together in rank order for player convenience, and not having to continuously bother the bartender for fresh dollar bills to play with. More importantly, Ouzo introduces two new rules that enable the game to be played at a much higher level than described in "The Ouzo Prophecy" at http://church-of-ouzo.com/pdf/ouzo-prophecy.pdf. If a bid is passed all around, the bidder can make a higher bid, but not twice in succession. Also, both bidder and non-bidder can double or redouble a bid, which doubles or redoubles the score of the hand. I'm sorry, but in your case, I'm afraid that dry-cleaning is completely out of the question since only concentrated Clorox bleach could possibly penetrate the obtuse fibers of your godforsaken soul.

Meh. As long as it comes out clean, I don't care about the process.
So, does that mean you'll pick it up when it's done?

Oh well. No great loss. It was poorly tailored and ill-fitting anyways.

Well, as it says in the introduction to "The Ouzo Prophecy," "I can offer you salvation in a game called Ouzo." You made the mistake of not specifically asking for the game.
