The book identifies Donald Trump as an asshole. He is a good example of asshole capitalism, how he does business.
Now, a Bill Gates is not an asshole capitalist. One senses that he made his money in a more legitimate way. He never went bankrupt like Trump did or manipulated the system like Trump has. Gates gives lots of money to charitable causes. Trump doesn't.
The book calls it a theory because it is still open ended as to who constitutes and asshole. It's like the theory of evolution, which is a pretty solid theory but not complete.
Most assholes are men but there are asshole women, like Sarah Palin or Ann Coulter. (We can all be assholes at times.) One thing that constitutes an asshole is their sense of entitlement, thinking they deserve things when they don't. Someone who weave in an out in traffic is an asshole.
