This is an absolute outrage, Bob, and somebody is going to have to put a stop to this sort of nonsense. I'm certain you're just the man for the job of setting the world to rights because it makes no sense whatsoever to require scientists to comply with the law.

I think he should be sentenced to sit in a room with Bob E for a year, rather than waste more public money on a long sentence.
Me, I'd rather go to gaol than listen to BobE.

I realize that as a godforsaken socialist, you can't understand that in a free society, that guy would just be fired from his job. Unfortunately, our government only pretends to oversee freedom. The AEP, of course, is our road to it.

That's rich, a dyed-in-the-wool foreign socialist commenting on a free society he knows nothing about and couldn't care less. Gaol? Learn English while you're at it.

There seems to be a glaring flaw in your "logic", Bob. In your OP you state that the scientist in question was sentenced to imprisonment by the judiciary, as is right and proper in a society which respects the rule of law. Are you now suggesting that the government should have intervened to prevent this from occurring? If so then what do you understand by the term "totalitarian state"?

What the hell's wrong with you? I said that in a free society, the scientist would simply be fired from his job. Based on your exceedingly flawed logic, I guess you think it would be OK for the government to hang him. Talk about totalitarianism, that's a subject you and the head of North Korea could discuss all night with him picking your brain and coming up with some good ideas he hadn't even thought of!

Civilised countries don't execute their own citizens, Bob, so I'm certainly not advocating that. However in most countries fraud is unlawful for sound sociological and economic reasons. If you reckon this should not be the case in your own country then kindly state the reasoning which underpins this opinion.

Only the more gifted practioners of this ancient art should be legally sanctioned because otherwise we'd all be in jail, Bob, since most of us are at least struggling amateurs when it comes to tax return time. ]

I did for a little while in a previous life but it was not to my taste.

Of course, under the AEP, there is no tax-return time since the only proper form of taxation is a single tax on property, property being defined as anything with intrinsic market value, and taxes are paid month by month like your utility bill.

You call jail a gaol, you call the hood of a car a bonnet. You don't even know how to spell the word color. And there you are, trying to tell an American how to speak English!
