I Saw God's Deeds in Tribulations

He was a public servant. Influenced by his parents, he believed in Jesus with them as a child. After graduating from college and going to work, he often felt rebuked in his conscience for being involuntarily involved in the dark social trend. … In his agony, Almighty God’s end-time salvation came upon him. He found the way to break away from sins and the direction of life from God’s word. But he never expected that he would be persecuted twice by the CCP government for his belief in God.

One day in June 2003, he was arrested by the CCP when preaching the gospel. And later he suffered mistreatment and affliction from evil cops for nearly two months. He was not released until on the verge of death. … In November 2004, he was arrested again and inhumanly tortured by the lackeys of the CCP, which left his legs handicapped. … In the tribulation, God’s words with authority and power of life helped him transcend the bondage of death once and again and he bore a strong and resounding testimony under the leading of God’s love. Although the devils’ affliction put him on the verge of death, thanks to God’s wonderful manipulation, he escaped death twice and recovered miraculously. This made him deeply realize that God’s transcendent power of life cannot be overwhelmed by any hostile force and darkness. Now, he again preaches God’s word and testifies God’s name everywhere….

Im thinking since you are an atheist, its not that you revere Jesus, moreso, you know how much a slice of toast with Jesus would make on ebay with the larger following of 2.2 Billion Christians.

Imagine if it was a doosh bag like Kanye West, i'm sure he would trump all offers for a piece of toast of himself!

Although the ritualised cannibalism of the Eucharist makes me puke I must confess I ate the toast.

Reminds me of being in Church with the school when i was about ten and watching a mate of mine walking back having received the Eucharist chewing away like it was chewing gum, chops wide open between each chomp, and i thought to myself, my god he doesnt even close his mouth when chewing on Christ.

It wasn't until I was a teenager that I understood why my parents frowned disapprovingly when I asked for seconds during communion. (They really should serve that Welch's in bigger cups.)

I imagine he would have appreciated God's "wonderful manipulation" even more had it come a little earlier.
