For example, one-lane highways. I know I get throttled by my ISP and I've heard the same for others. What other ways besides speed aren't we equal? Here's an article:

Edit: here's another way I've just thought of that we're all not equal under the internet and that is we get charged in various ways for using it. This article touches upon one of the ways:

Several years ago Al Gore said in a speech that he wanted to see the internet become the "information superhighway".

I made the comment that it was more like a "toll road", after finding more and more sites that wanted to charge for access.

I think the best solution is some system of taxation to make the internet truly accessible (of course nothing is truly free if you want to get something accomplished, but I can't think of any better system and the US Constitution says the government is charged with providing for the general welfare of the public, an example is using the internet to look for jobs).
