Poly = many
Ticks = blood-sucking parasites
Tics = spasms

Body politic likening the nation to a body, we have:

Many blood-sucking parasites, or

Many bodily spasms.

Either doesn't sound healthy. :wink:

. Flea powder and shampoo don't work anymore; they've developed immunity.
What's the solution?

Election accountability laws would be a good start. If politicians were held accountable to what they say in elections, we'd have a bit more truth out of them, on pain of recall. At the very least, they'd have to watch what they say they'll do, or promise. But don't hold your breath on a politician passing that one.

Oh, I get you Skip! You can buy tick solution at your local pet store or veterinary clinic. Unfortunately, it's not available through Elections Canada lol! :lol:

The accountability thingie doesn't work, either.
Modern people are trained amnesiacs and their news media have only limited, selective short-term memory.

Plus, Dancing With the Clumsy Palin Girl is on, so who cares?

That's one thing you'll never have to worry about with the AEP, whose political position will never change with the direction of the wind, and whose marching orders will be faithfully followed by AEP candidates and elected officials.
