Anger and Frustration Towards God

Is it okay to be angry and frustrated with God? I think so. While we are all accountable for our actions, doesn't some of the blame rest with God? After all, he created us the way we are and knew about the consequences. God created us with the potential for chemical imbalances in the brain, negative experiences that impact how we act, and set in motion events that would create extreme suffering for many. On the other half, we also have the potential to be the opposite. We have the potential to rise above our own suffering and aid in easing the suffering of others. However, most of us get complacent with our lives and purposes while we let others suffer. Everyone seems in it for themselves in the end, and who is to blame? God. God created the situations, and most of the other factors for us to overcome.

People seem to worship god more out of fear than sincerity it feels like. Worship god or go to hell? That is the nonsense some of us have been fed from childhood. Do good in life not out of fear of hell or for the promise of heaven, but for just the reason that it is the right thing to do. Leave god out of the equation and you will find much more pure reasons for doing good in our lives. I understand as children and even as adults some of us need that fear to behave. Over history this fear has been abused by mankind to control us by feeding us more nonsense. Religion has mostly been a method to control the masses with fear.

Wars have raged in the name of God and death has been deemed okay because it was a holy cause. Humanity has killed countless innocents in the name of God. I guess I'm not angry with god directly, more so angry with the representation of God. I suspect that if there is a God out there in time and space that there is a purpose to all this madness. Human representations are flawed because we are imperfect beings. So things such as the bible are flawed because they are man made or at least represented by mankind.

Seriously, don't you think it is time that you just jettisoned the idea of god altogether.
What sense does it make that God has created us with original sin and expects us to fathom the contradictory depths of the Bible and figure out a way to behave, in-spite of our nature, in a way acceptable to Him.
Seriously, who knows?
He has made us ill, and commands us to be well. Yet how the fuck are we supposed to behave?
Some people think the way to heaven is to stand on street corners with placards saying "God Hates Fags". Are they wrong?
Seriously, who knows?

God being omnipotent, has to have known at the moment he created you, that you would die a sinner. He has to know that about everyone. So when he makes us, he makes some of us for Heaven, and others to fill out the Halls of Hell. So why not just get on with your life and stop worrying. You fate is already sealed.

If you act in a good way to achieve immortality, you are being selfish. It is better to act in goodness for it's own sake, or because it is a good idea, good for others, good for progress of humanity and the earth. Maybe that's what god wants all along.
Seriously, who knows?

God made some of us for hell ?

Could it be you who sings a song about being born sick ?

"Madam, take me to church, I will tell you my sins, then you can sharpen your knife."

Of could it be you, who judges others?

Maybe not the idea entirely, but certainly the many bad ideas of God that ill-informed Christians/Muslims/Jews profess daily. There are far more robust, coherent, and encouraging understandings of God (even within the Christian faith) than the usual fare.

I was going to say "Oh yeah, name one!", Then I noticed it was you that posted.

... Don't bother.

That's a relief.

I am not judging anyone.
It was you who said that God had made some of us for hell.
A similar view was also expressed in a pop song.
I put the two views together, that´s all.

I am not judging anyone.

You just judged me!

It was you who said that God had made some of us for hell.

I'm not god. I don't make the rules. I just follow the logic.

I don't listen to "Pop".

What made you think that I was judging you ?
Can you quote my "judgement" and tell me how you interpreted it ?

You said that some of us were made for hell.
A pop singer said that he had been born sick and expected God´s punishment for this.

I noticed that the two statements are similar.

Where do you see any judgement of anyone ?

Good question, I was talking about the Christian, Catholic, and Muslim representations of God. Mainly from history.
