Several weeks ago I heard Russ Limbaugh state that such a balance of power was President Obama's goal. I've not heard him mention the proposition since. But, it is one possible explanation for Obama's weak bargaining process. What do you think?

No they won't, they'll just bomb the plant's. The irony is that America created the Iran they both hate.
Personally, Iran would be insane not to become a nuclear power as it's clear what the Sunni's actually think of them and Israel is a much lesser threat in this respect. Add to that that N.Korea and Pakistan have shown that if you want the Americans to stay off your backs then get nukes.
Looks like CND was right all along, we either disarm and set a good example or face the fact that everyone else will want them.

Lol..you want Obama to fix the middle east the way Bush did? You guys slay me.
Here's the deal...no matter what, this thing will play out til the end. But stupid republicans aren't happy until they're poking the hornet's nest to instigate trouble now! Stoopid White Men! Impulsive jackasses if you ask me.

Stop fucking about in other peoples business and the jihad may never have been raised. Iran as it is now is pretty much the result of British and America geopolitics. They can just as easily look at the religious politicians in America and see crusaders armed with nukes wanting the end-of-times and have good reason to believe that they will use them.

history from day one is this or that group of people screwing about in other people's business
the jihad began before Columbus borrowed a boat
history never repeats

It's also been about people co-operating and trading, pretty much old American foreign policy, now-a-days we have the worst of all worlds, an imperialistic America without the imperial responsibilities.

There is no 'the' Jihad but I wonder why the US supported and funded the Mujahideen? Oh yeah! Fear of the Red Menace. End-of-times Armageddon been around a lot long than that and armed with nukes now-a-days.
history never repeats
But it gets really close, still this is a positive thing as it means we can make new choices and see how they turn out.

History doesn't repeat itself but it often rhymes.
